Doha

We arrived at our hotel at 1.30 am after a 14 hour flight which was made just bearable by not having anyone sitting between us. We didn't get quite as much sleep as we had hoped for because the fire alarm went off at 6.00 am. It was too hard to get back to sleep so we had an earlier start to the day than we had intended. After breakfast we took a taxi to the Museum of Islamic Art which is situated on the waterfront.

It was very easy to spend a couple of hours looking at the amazing art, from the very small to the very big.
